Fur Rondy Amateur Photography Contest Display

Stop by the Midtown Mall during Rondy to view this year’s winning and selected for exhibition photos from our annual Juried Amateur Photography Contest!
Each year hundreds of photos, taken all over the state of Alaska, are submitted in 9 different photographic categories: Animals (pets & captive), Creative, Flowers, Fur Rondy, People, Scenic, Sports, Unclassified and Wildlife. Prizes are awarded in each category for both Black & White and Color photos. All together, 250 photos, chosen and awarded Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Honorable Mention & Selected for Exhibition, end up on display in the mall as part of this official Fur Rendezvous event.
